About Hunt’s Joinery: Tamworth Joinery Services

Hunt’s Joinery was established in 2004, proudly providing quality joinery services to Tamworth and surrounds for 15 years. We service anywhere within a 100km radius including Armidale, Gunnedah, Murrurundi and East to the Ranges. We are your specialists for all joinery projects including custom doors and windows, stairs and balustrading, custom projects, restorations, moulding and machining.

Hunt’s Joinery is a team of 3 comprising of our owner Steve, his apprentice and Steve’s daughter who works in the office. Steve has 35 years of trade experience, having started out as a joinery apprentice before trying his hand in a range of other trades and then later returning to joinery. He is passionate about joinery because he loves the finished product and finds it highly rewarding.

A member of the Window and Door Industry Council (WaDIC), Hunt’s Joinery has a great reputation in the industry and we a guarantee that our work always meets industry standards.

High Quality Timber and Materials:

We only work with timber and pride ourselves on using high quality, responsibly sourced certified forestry timber. We believe that high quality materials combined with our attention to detail is what makes Hunt’s Joinery’s work incomparable.

All the hardware that we use such as door handles, hinges, latches and more is sourced from high-quality brands and manufacturers. We have a number of bands that we prefer to use because they meet our high standards for quality and durability, but we are happy to work with any brand or hardware that our customers request.

Our Process:

At Hunt’s Joinery, we pride ourselves on following a streamlined process that is highly collaborative with the client. Our process varies depending on the service, however we follow the same personalised, detailed structure that we believe defines Hunt’s Joinery.

During the initial consultation, we sit down with the client and have a detailed conversation about what they want to achieve from the service. We encourage the client to provide us with inspiration photos, ideas or brochures so we are both on the same page. Once we have an idea of what the client wants, we will show them what materials are available and allow them to choose while offering our own professional advice. Once the design has been agreed on and the materials are chosen, we will make sure everything fits to industry code and suggest alternatives if need be. From here, we will come back with a quote, do a check- measure if required and then begin work.
